Attending: get started
Sign in to your organization's QueueKat site
Start with the event link from the organizer. Each organization has its own QueueKat site, and this link takes you to the right one.
Open the organizer's event link
The link opens the event page for the organization running the event. For
example, an organization might use cedar.example.test; this example address
is synthetic. Use the organizer's link even if you know another QueueKat
address.
Sign in or create an account
On your organization's QueueKat site, open Log in (/users/log-in). Enter
the email for your account at that organization and choose email instructions
or password sign-in. If you do not have an account there, use Sign up on
the same site.
Accounts belong to one organization. For example, river@example.test could
identify separate accounts for two organizations; having the same email does
not combine those accounts. Sign-in links return to the QueueKat site that sent
them, and signing in to one organization's QueueKat instance does not sign you
in to another.
Find your event
After signing in, open the event link again if needed to return to the event
page. My events (/my) shows events associated with the account currently
signed in.
QueueKat SMS reminder links currently start at queue-kat.com before
redirecting to the event page on your organization's QueueKat site. If you need
to return later, use the event link provided by the organizer rather than
guessing an address.
For booking steps, see Book a place or join a waitlist.
Troubleshooting
- If the event is missing or the page asks you to sign in again, compare the address bar with the event link from the organizer. Sign in on your organization's QueueKat site using that link.
- If the email is not recognized, check that you are on the QueueKat site for the organization that owns the event. The same email at another organization is a separate account.
- If a sign-in message does not arrive, check the address you entered and its spam or junk folder. The login page does not reveal whether an email address has an account.
