Attending: your visit
Give up your spot or leave a party
If your plans change, use the event page to give up your spot. To leave the group itself, open the party page. These are separate: leaving the party does not give up a spot you already have at an event.
Give up your spot at an event
On the event page, choose I'm not coming anymore and confirm. You can use this action while you have an active booking, waitlist place, offer, or summons. The event page confirms that you've given up your spot.
If you cancel a booked arrival time and later return, you can choose from whatever is available then. Your previous time is not reserved for you. If you leave a waitlist, you can join again when the event offers that option, but your previous position is not kept.
If the event page no longer offers I'm not coming anymore, check your current status. For example, an expired arrival deadline may need an event staff member to review it; see Respond to an offer and show your pass.
Give up only your spot in a party booking
In a group booking, I'm not coming anymore gives up only your spot at that event. The other members can continue together, and you remain in the party. The party's coordinator can still manage a live group offer.
Leave party membership
Open Parties (/parties), choose the party, and select Leave party.
Leaving does not give up any spots you already have at events. A party leader
must hand leadership to another member before leaving; leaving as the last
member closes the party.
For group booking and offer permissions, see Go together with a party.
